Welcome to the Loughborough "Crew in Black" and "Crew Tarts" Web site!
We are a bunch of backstage crew, working in Loughborough for many local societies. This site is intended as a source of information for other amateur crew who wish to share ideas and technical expertise, via a the web, email or phone. We work together mainly for the ESNA Players, who stage two musicals a year, for which we scratch build the entire set, however we are not restricted to working for this group alone, between us we work for Greasepaint Productions, Loughborough Amateurs, Christ Church Theatre Club, Act One, Take Five and many more local groups. We all either currently work for, or have worked for in the past Loughborough Town Hall, building professional Panto set, as well as casual backstage labour working with acts such as Shed 7, Paul Daniels, Phil Cool and many, many more. Please note that "Crew Tarts" and "Crew in Black" are a casual gathering of like minded people, and that neither exist as a company or trading name.
