Alan's first show was The Mystery of Edmin Drood in 1996 for GreasePaint, his favourite show is Me and My Girl. He has crewed for GreasePaint, Act 1, Ashby Operatic Society, LAOS, Charnwood Opera, Stanley Opera and also has been Stage Manager for a small company in Shepshed called BATS. Alan has also crossed the line and has had parts in Jesus Christ Superstar (Perry Productions), The Pirates of Penzance (Loughborough Theatre Club), Billy Liar (Loughborough Theatre Club) and Company (The New Theatre Company). He also trod the boards was back in the early 80's with Charnwood Yout Theatre in Grease, Westside Story and Hair.
